MCALC the first Gender Neutral Menstruation Calculator.

Mcalc started off as an idea to create a menstruation calculator app that could be used by anyone regardless of their gender, this way our app keeps the trans* and genderqueer community in mind so they can enjoy the features without being constantly misgendered (as with other apps).

Our new app is still in BETA so we appreciate any feedback you can give us at info.sexmind@gmail.com, we try to solve as many bugs as possible in as little time as we can so please, let us know if anything is not working properly.

What is Mcalc?

Mcalc is a new menstruation calculator app, it tracks your period and keeps you updated on your current status and any upcoming important events of your menstrual cycle

How does it work?

Simple! just provide the app with some basic information about you and your cycle, Mcalc will calculate the rest, taking your personal context into consideration. Afterwards you can set alarms and even log relevant events.

What features does it have?

-Neutrality Guaranteed: We understand that sex and gender identity are not the same, because of this, we designed our app so it can be used by almost everyone. Mcalc is 100% gender neutral and it won’t assume anything from you while using it.

-Notifications: Mcalc will keep you updated on the important dates of your menstrual cycle, it’s built in alarm system will allow you to set notifications you care about.

-Adaptation: We all have different needs, and Mcalc can suit them accordingly, it will only display the information relevant to your purposes and won’t nag you with irrelevant data. Using Mcalc on “sex mode” will help you reduce your risks of getting pregnant when having sex for fun, while setting it on “baby mode” will help you increase your chances of getting pregnant when planning one.

-Tracking: Mcalc lets you keep a log of your activity for later reference, it’s as simple as tapping a date in our calendar and tick the events that happened that day to save them for further reference.

-BUG FIXES: We will try to support more android versions as well as fixing the current bugs on the supported ones ( such as being unable to set a weight over 150lbs and other minor bugs we found on supported versions )

-Tablet version: We will adapt our app so that it can also be used on android tablets

-“Neutral mode/All info mode”: We will add a new mode that is completely neutral to your purposes with the app, that way you can view all the information without Mcalc asking if you are looking to get pregnant or if you are just having sex for fun ( This way we become more inclusive with the Asexual community and every person who just wants to keep a track on their period)

-IOS VERSION!!!!!!!: DUE TO THE HIGH DEMAND WE WILL LAUNCH (in the next couple of days) AN INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGN TO FINANCE THE IOS VERSION, PLEASE STAY TUNED AND FOLLOW SEXMIND ON TUMBLR SO THAT YOU CAN SUPPORT OUR PROJECT AND HELP US SIGNAL BOOST TO MAKE THIS A REALITY FOR IOS PHONES.

hey hey! I didn’t lie, did I? LOL okay .. I might have forgotten because I haven’t been getting back to the habit yet. LOL anyways… my day goes a little like this: I went to school after working out and all that fun stuff. got to school with 10mins to spare which is awesome! =) class was boring to me because I went over all my notes for the chapter so nothing was appealing for me. >=/ I kenw this was going to happen. LOL and then went to the bc liquor store to grab stuff for the little clement. LOL went over tony k’s house and droped it off. went to the OTHER tony’s house to have a small chat. went home and had dindins. then went off to metro and shopped around at lush and then around to buy stuff. went to superstore and bought the shit I needed to make cupcake lasagna which was pretty pricy but I mean.. I could eat it for a good few days before I get bored of it so I am not too mad about it. HAHAHA got home and got down to business. made ‘em nice but not “burnt” at the top. >=( anyways… then went to deliver 2 for tony and went hoem to eat one. it was pretty good =3 oily from everything but overall, I thought it was okay =) and then yeah! took a shower and here I am! HAHHA i’ll see you guys tomorrow or not even because i’ll be busy the entire night. HHAHAA NIGHTS!

hey guys! i’m so sorry that I’ve been away for so long. I was originallu going to post a visdeo but turns out that the mb was too big. =( so …. instead of actually talking about everything again, i’ll see how many highlights I can draw up! =)

• saw someone at playland that looked like colin li and I confronted him and we were chatting for quite a bit (my entire break)
• went to pool and a whole bunch of stuff a few times with heuven, Philip, and calvin.
• managed to chill with denessa and we went to medina’s for breakfast
• went to “walk” around playland with Karen but she sarted work because the bus came late
• got a new student plan from rogers because i’m already paying $50 for my plan and I don’t get data and such so I changed it PLUS it came with a new phone for onoly $100ish so I got the s3! ahAHHAHA I hate the keyboard though. the swipe is not something i’m used to
• saved up enough money for the japan trip (plane tickets only doe)

I don’t recall much anymore but I had al ot of fun and definitely really tiring. AHHAHA I didn’t realy get enough sleep =(

today I went to cloud 9 with the family and it was nice .. I felt trippy doe because the spinning was slow and it was just playing tricks on my mind. mmm yeah. it came to a pretty expensive price and my sister and I were splitting the bill though she didn’t even pay me back yet = =“ LOL

so that was it from these 2 weeks. =X i’m sorry for always lying HAHAHAH I have 5 courses this semester and I don’t want to fall behind on the notes because i’ll e so rushed and all that stuff. SIGH and then yeah. I would remember to type one up but I get way too tired and I tell myself that I would type it up the next day. so i’m sorry. i’ll ry to get back to my habits! so before that happens, as usual, i’ll see you guy tomorrow! nights!
